What is RAM: Random Access Mayhem?
RAM: Random Access Mayhem is a top-down action game set in a chaotic computer. You battle viruses, corrupted data, and firewalls in fast and furious combat. You collect temporary power-ups in each run as the action unfolds. The permanent upgrades stay between runs. You are trying to purge the system corruption. RAM combines bullet hell combat with rogue-lite progression for fast and fun replayable mod mayhem.
Gameplay:
Each run provides another exploration of the system’s constantly shifting architecture. You’ll roam around some circuitboard hallways and memory sectors discovering unstable information. You’ll encounter vast swarms of enemies ranging from small glitches to giant boss viruses. Good reflexes are needed to traverse the hell of bullets. The enemies that you defeat will drop fragments of information to upgrade you for a brief period of time.
If your health is reduced to zero, you will be forcibly ejected from the system. You will then return to the hub, where you can use the information you obtained for permanent upgrades you have unlocked. These upgrades will make each subsequent run even stronger. You will unlock new weapons or new abilities to explore deeper. Ultimately, your goal is to reach the core network and defeat the original source of the corruption.
